These are the things that inspire my natural, and authentic approach to newborn baby photography. All the tiny details that make up your baby's existence in those first few weeks of life are so beautiful, and temporary. Documenting those early moments and details allows us to cherish them forever.

dacia vu photography offers both Lifestyle (natural, unposed) and Posed (staged sets and backdrops) Newborn sessions. These sessions are held in the convenience and comfort of your own home and are designed to capture those fleeting moments surrounding your little one's first few weeks of life. You'll be able to incorporate your spouse, children, or whomever else you'd like included in the session.

You will receive a full styling service, with access to my client wardrobe full of beautiful, stylish options for expecting and postpartum women and children ages newborn to 12 years old. I also have an extensive collection of newborn wraps, outfits, accessories, props and backdrops to choose from for your session. We will work together to create a custom, timeless design you'll love. Each session is carefully planned and designed with your vision in mind.

fresh 48 sessions
Your Fresh 48 Session will be approximately 45 minutes in length, and may be held at the hospital, birthing center, or your home, depending on where your child was born. These sessions are designed to capture those treasured moments surrounding the arrival of your newborn, and those first few hours with them while they're "fresh" from the womb.
Session includes:

A pre-session design consult, through email, over the phone or in-person to discuss and plan your personal session details

A 45-60 minute session at the hospital, birthing center, or your home within the first forty-eight hours following your child's birth

Gallery of 2-3 web-sized digital images provided in an online gallery for downloading within 24 hours following your session for birth announcements

All additional images available for viewing and ordering at the studio, within 1-2 weeks following your session
